Yes — when the plant, the address and the packing rules are written into the order before production starts. For many US and Canadian brands that assemble or kit in China, finished color boxes and corrugated color boxes can go straight to the buyer’s named assembly factory. At BOYA Printing, that ship-to-plant path sits inside a one-stop packaging chain — from design and quotation through sampling, production, QC, shipping and after-sales. FOB, DDP and overseas direct delivery are also available; terms are confirmed per project.

  • Deliver finished packaging to your named China assembly plant when the PO says so

  • Path: RFQ → sample → produce → QC → deliver (address, marks and dock rules locked in writing)

  • One-stop packaging — from design and quotation through sampling, production, QC, shipping and after-sales

  • Also available: FOB, DDP, overseas direct — terms per project

  • Own factory in Xiaolan, Zhongshan, since 2003: about 20,000 m², 128 people; 4 offset presses

  • FSC-C157096; ISO 9001:2015; ONE (formerly GMI) certified

  • MOQ from 1,000 pcs, depending on product and process; color boxes and card boxes typically 7–15 days, rigid gift boxes typically 15–45 days, depending on quantity, process and box style

  • Welcome to book a factory visit (on-site or video, by appointment)

This guide is for buyers who need packaging to land at a China assembly plant on a schedule — not a factory-floor audit checklist, and not a retail-ready packaging guide. For product styles, see corrugated color boxes and hardware and tools packaging. For the wider order steps in writing, see our custom packaging order process.

1. Short answer: yes — if the plant is named before you print

Ship-to-plant means finished packaging goes to the assembly factory you name, not only to a port or forwarder. Lock three things early: who receives (plant name, street address, receiving contact), what arrives (carton marks, units per carton, pallet size, labels), and when it must land (batch dates tied to the assembly plan).

At BOYA, delivery to the buyer’s China assembly factory is in scope. FOB, DDP and overseas direct delivery are also available. Terms are confirmed per project — do not copy Incoterms from an old SKU.

2. The path: RFQ → sample → produce → QC → deliver

Treat delivery as the last step of one chain, not a separate freight ask after the boxes are already printed.

RFQ

Send product size and weight, box style, board preference, print and finishes, quantity per version, and — in the same brief — the assembly plant address and target arrival windows. Ask the factory to confirm whether ship-to-plant, FOB, DDP or overseas direct fits that programme. Send the brief to denny@byprintings.com or WhatsApp +86 189 2812 5102 so ship-to-plant can be confirmed in the quotation.

Sample

Sampling is available. Lock structure, print and fit against the real product where you can; for ship-to-plant programmes, also confirm packing density and how the plant will unload. Specs follow the written confirmation. Sample timing and cost are confirmed per project.

Produce

Production follows the signed sample and written specification. At BOYA, order status runs through our Bositong digital-factory suite (ERP, MES, WMS and related modules). Name who will give status after the PO. See also packaging order tracking with ERP / MES / WMS.

QC

QC is recorded against the written specification and the approved sample before goods leave. In-house burst and compression checks on board are in-plant checks — not a third-party lab certification. Ask what goes into the QC record for your order.

Deliver to the named plant

Confirm receiving hours, dock / forklift rules, who signs the delivery note, and how shortages are reported. For split shipments, put each batch quantity and date on one shared schedule. Carton marks and pallet labels should match the assembly warehouse’s inbound rules.

3. One-stop packaging — what is in scope

BOYA’s public line is: one-stop packaging — from design and quotation through sampling, production, QC, shipping and after-sales.

BOYA's core products are color boxes (folding cartons), corrugated color cartons and handmade rigid gift boxes (including book-style boxes). Packaging graphic, logo, business card and structural packaging design are also available. After-sales means we follow up on each shipped order.

4. Ship-to-plant vs FOB, DDP and overseas direct

  • Ship to China assembly plant — product is assembled or kitted in China; packaging must land at that factory

  • FOB — buyer’s forwarder takes over at the agreed port / point

  • DDP — delivered-duty-paid to an agreed destination (scope and costs confirmed per project)

  • Overseas direct — finished packaging ships to an overseas address the buyer names

All four are available when the project calls for them. Write the chosen option into the quotation and the PO. Changing from plant delivery to FOB after print can force a re-pack or a re-book — decide before plates are made when you can.

5. What to put in the RFQ so quotes stay comparable

  • Box style and product size / weight

  • Board and finish preference (or ask us to propose)

  • Quantity per version and number of versions

  • Delivery mode: named China plant / FOB / DDP / overseas direct

  • Plant name, full address, receiving contact (for ship-to-plant)

  • Carton marks, units per carton, pallet pattern, label rules

  • Batch dates if the plant needs split deliveries

  • Certificate needs (for example FSC-labelled material — our CoC is FSC-C157096)

  • Colour / print needs (we are ONE (formerly GMI) certified; status per PQM)

Send every supplier the same written list. For corrugated styles, start from corrugated color boxes; for hardware programmes, see hardware and tools packaging.
