Hardware is heavy, has sharp edges and often ships as a kit of loose parts. It also has to look good on a big-box retail shelf. BOYA Printing has made packaging since 2003 in Xiaolan, Zhongshan, in the middle of one of China's largest hardware and home-furnishing manufacturing belts. The factories around us make locks, hinges, fittings and tools, and we have spent two decades learning what their boxes need to survive.

Built for Weight and Retail

Strength comes first. We choose the flute, board grade and structure from the product weight, the drop risks and the stacking load, then prove it at sampling. Retail matters too. We print by offset litho and laminate to corrugated, which gives you sharp product photography, clear spec panels and barcodes that scan.

Certified Printing, Consistent Color

Hardware brands often run dozens of SKUs that must match on the shelf. We print on KBA Rapida 105-6+L (6-colour + coater), KBA Rapida 142-5+L (5-colour full-sheet), Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 (5-colour) and Roland 900 (4-colour, 1.6 m) presses. In September 2026 BOYA achieved ONE (formerly GMI) certification for lithographic offset printing (process and spot color). We also hold FSC Chain of Custody (FSC-C157096) and ISO 9001:2015.

What is the difference between a color box and a folding carton?

A color box laminates printed paper onto corrugated board, so it is stronger for heavy products. A folding carton is a single-ply paperboard box.
