Structure, paperboard and print
Structure and assembly. Review the dieline, opening, folds, glued sections and closure. Discuss windows, hanging holes or inserts where needed. Tell us whether packing is by hand or on a line, and whether you need flat, pre-glued or assembled cartons. Confirm any proposed closure on a sample.
Paperboard, print and finish. Confirm the board grade and caliper, grain direction, surface and coating or lamination. Match the artwork revision, print areas, colours and finishes to the dieline. Discuss printing, die-cutting, window patching, lamination, foil stamping or spot UV for the selected construction. Barcode artwork and print quality need separate approval.

Check a loaded sample
Pack the actual product and accessories into the sample. Check folding, locking, glued areas, display and product removal. Review colour and finish separately from structural fit, and record any changes before production approval. Use the sample approval checklist to record the approved version.
