Read seven fields — legal name, site, scope, standard, validity, certificate number and accreditation mark — then look up the same number on the issuer’s public search. 1. Why a certificate photo is not enough

A scan shows one day’s paper. Certificates can expire, be suspended, or name a different legal entity from your quote. The check that counts: read the fields, then confirm the number is still live in the issuer’s search.

ISO 9001 means a certified quality management system. It does not lock colour, board or delivery dates — those stay in your written confirmation.

2. How to read the seven fields

Legal name

The certified organisation must match the legal name on the contract and invoice — not a trading brand alone. For BOYA: Zhongshan Boya Color Printing Co., Ltd. (中山市博雅彩色印刷有限公司). If the certificate names a different company from the one that invoices you, stop and ask why.

Site

Match the city and address to where the packaging will be printed. BOYA’s factory: No. 1-1, Maofeng 1st Road, North District, Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province 528415, China. A certificate for another city does not cover your production site.

Scope

Standard
