Buyers often ask: can a packaging factory handle design, or do we need a separate studio before we print?

BOYA's core products are color boxes, corrugated color cartons and handmade rigid gift boxes (including book-style boxes). Packaging graphic, logo, business card and structural packaging design are also available. Design sits inside the same project as the box — not as a replacement for print and make.

Packaging graphic design, logo design, business card design, and structural packaging design available.

  • Main business: color boxes, corrugated color cartons and handmade rigid gift boxes

  • Design also available: packaging graphic, logo, business card, structural (dieline / structure)

  • One-stop packaging chain: design → quote → sample → produce → QC → ship → after-sales.

  • Simple design may be free; complex design scoped per project

  • MOQ from 1,000 pcs, depending on product and process. Typical lead times, depending on specifications: color boxes 7–15 days; folding cartons 10–25 days; craft/rigid gift boxes 15–45 days; tea, wine and mooncake boxes 15–30 days; display stands 10–20 days

  • Factory visits welcome

This hub is for brand owners and importers who want print and boxes from one Zhongshan plant, and may also need artwork or structure help before production. For box styles, see rigid gift boxes and book-style boxes. For company background, see About.

1. What we are — and where design fits

Zhongshan Boya Color Printing Co., Ltd. (BOYA Printing) prints and makes packaging. BOYA's core products are color boxes, corrugated color cartons and handmade rigid gift boxes (including book-style boxes). Design is also available when a project needs layout, a simple logo treatment, a matching business card, or a structural dieline — so files can move into quote, sample and production when that fits your brief. We do not position ourselves as a design agency.

2. Packaging graphic design

Packaging graphic design covers the printed face of the box: panels, hierarchy, die-cut windows, finish call-outs and how art sits on the board. Typical inputs are brand colours, product photos or line art, and a target box style. We place the art on a production-ready layout so print, lamination, foil or emboss can be planned with the same file. For process options next to the art, see services.

3. Logo design

Logo design, in our scope, means a mark suitable for packaging and print — clear at small sizes on a lid, foil stamp or emboss, and usable on a matching card or hang tag. We keep it practical for the finishes you plan (ink, foil, emboss, spot UV). Existing logo files get adapted for the dieline; a simple mark drafted for the project can be scoped with the box job.

4. Business card design

Business card design is available when you want cards that match the packaging brand — same colours, type and logo treatment as the box. Cards sit with the packaging project when you ask for them, not as a stand-alone creative campaign.

5. Structural packaging design

Structural packaging design means the box form: lid-and-base, book-style, tray, sleeve, insert and the dieline that cutting and wrapping follow. Structure decides board caliper, wrap size, product fit and how the box opens. We work from product dimensions and shipping or retail needs toward a dieline printing and handmade assembly can run. Structure and surface art are easier to align in the same conversation.

6. How design sits in the one-stop chain

Design is one step in the chain, not the whole offer. The production path we describe to buyers is:

One-stop packaging chain: design → quote → sample → produce → QC → ship → after-sales.

In practice: align the brief and files (or draft simple art / structure) → written quote from agreed specs → sample when needed → print and handmade production → QC → ship → after-sales. Delivery can be arranged to a China assembly plant, FOB, DDP or overseas direct, terms per project. Factory visits welcome by appointment. Typical lead times, depending on specifications: color boxes 7–15 days; folding cartons 10–25 days; craft/rigid gift boxes 15–45 days; tea, wine and mooncake boxes 15–30 days; display stands 10–20 days. MOQ from 1,000 pcs, depending on product and process. See also FAQ.

7. When simple design may be free vs complex scoped

Simple design may be free; complex design scoped per project. We do not publish design price lists.

  • Often simple: placing your existing logo and copy on a known box style; light layout cleanup; adjusting a provided dieline to fit confirmed product size; a straightforward business card that reuses the box brand.

  • Usually scoped: new logo systems; full packaging art systems across SKUs; custom structures with inserts and multi-part trays; heavy revision rounds; artwork that needs illustration or photography direction beyond print prep.

Tell us what you already have (AI, PDF, brand guide, product size) and what must still be created. We will say whether design rides with the packaging quote or needs its own scope — no fixed design fee listed here.

FAQ

Can a packaging factory handle design?

BOYA's core products are color boxes, corrugated color cartons and handmade rigid gift boxes (including book-style boxes). Packaging graphic, logo, business card and structural packaging design are also available. Many projects still arrive with finished art from your team or an agency; we print and make from those files too.

Do I need a separate design agency?

Not always. Layout, a practical logo for the box, matching cards or a dieline can be discussed with the packaging job. Complex brand systems may stay with your agency; we then take production files into print and make.

Is design free?

Simple design may be free; complex design scoped per project. We do not list design prices on the site.

What is the MOQ?

MOQ from 1,000 pcs, depending on product and process. Typical lead times, depending on specifications: color boxes 7–15 days; folding cartons 10–25 days; craft/rigid gift boxes 15–45 days; tea, wine and mooncake boxes 15–30 days; display stands 10–20 days.
