BOYA Printing in Zhongshan, China produces custom book-style boxes, rigid boxes whose cover opens sideways like a hardcover book. Covers are made on a case-making machine from Shengtu (ST Machinery) and can close with magnets, ribbon ties or a slip sleeve, with printing and finishes approved on a pre-production sample.
Book-style boxes use a hard cover made like a hardcover book case: two board panels and a spine, wrapped in paper, linen-look stock or leatherette. The cover is glued to a rigid tray. Spine width is set from the tray depth so the cover closes flush, and literature pockets or ribbon ties can be built into the cover board.
Cover wraps are printed and laminated before casing, and spine titles are commonly hot foil stamped so they read when the box sits sideways on a shelf. Inside covers can be printed with instructions or a brand story. Covers are made on a Shengtu case-making machine, with details on our equipment page. Learn more about our factory in Zhongshan.

Send us the item list that goes inside, since book boxes often hold several pieces. We plan the tray layout, build a sample with the real cover paper, and check that the hinge opens fully without cracking the print. After approval the covers are cased, joined to trays and inspected for straight spines, then packed flat-stacked to protect the corners in transit.
A book-style box opens sideways like a book cover. Many book-style boxes close with magnets, so the two often overlap; the closure is chosen per project.
