BOYA Printing in Zhongshan, China manufactures custom magnetic closure gift boxes: rigid boxes with a hinged flap that snaps shut with concealed magnets. BOYA fits concealed magnets and iron sheets, wraps the board in printed or specialty paper, and adds finishes such as foil stamping, embossing and spot UV.
A magnetic box is a rigid greyboard shell with one continuous wrap running from the back panel over the flap. Neodymium-style magnets or a magnet paired with an iron sheet are set into recesses in the board before wrapping. Paper choices range from printed coated sheets to linen-texture and pearl papers, and the inner tray can be lined in a contrasting color.
Because the flap is the first thing a customer touches, BOYA often recommends soft-touch lamination there with a foil or embossed logo across the closure line. Spot UV works well for a gloss logo on a matte black wrap. Magnets and iron sheets are fitted in our rigid box workshop; see the forming section of our equipment page.
Cosmetics and skincare sets, consumer electronics, fashion accessories, corporate gifts and subscription gifts.
Tell us the product dimensions and how strong the closure should feel. The sample stage is where magnet strength and position are tuned so the flap snaps shut without pulling the box off the table. Once you approve the feel and the finish, production starts; inspectors open and close boxes from every batch to check alignment before cartons are sealed for shipping.
BOYA fits magnets and iron sheets into the board, then wraps the board so the magnets are hidden.
Yes. The magnets sit inside the board under the wrap paper, so the closure looks seamless from outside.
Offset printing, lamination, hot foil stamping, embossing and spot UV are all available and are approved on the sample.
